Passi City College was invited to and joined as an awardee in the 51st Founding Anniversary Celebration of the 3rd Infantry (Spearhead) Division of the Philippine Army, held on May 30, 2025, at the 3rd Infantry Division Covered Gym, Camp General Macario B. Peralta Jr., in Jamindan, Capiz.

During the event, the Passi City College ROTC Unit was awarded as the Best ROTC Unit in Region VI. The award was personally presented by LTGEN Roy M. Galido PA, Commanding General of the Philippine Army. The celebration carried the theme, โ€œ3ID @ 51: Matatag na Kaagapay ng mga Mamamayan ng Kanluran, Gitnang Visayas, at Negros Island para sa Bagong Pilipinas.โ€

Representing the college were Dr. Janice Jennifer P. Palmares, College Administrator/President, and Col. Rolly B. Figueroa (Ret.), ROTC Commandant of the PCC ROTC Unit.

The eventโ€™s Guest of Honor and Speaker was LTGEN Roy M. Galido PA, the Commanding General of the Philippine Army. Also present at the said event was MGEN Michael G. Samson PA, Commander of the 3rd Infantry Division.

Passi City College extends its heartfelt appreciation for the privilege of being invited as an awardee and for the honor of being recognized as the Best ROTC Unit in Region VI. The college reaffirms the unwavering support of both its ROTC Unit and the entire PCC community in upholding a strong commitment to service and dedication.

The Passi City College ROTC Unit made history after being named Champion of the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2025, held at the Passi City Sports Complex on May 26.

With a record-high score of 97.58 โ€” the highest in the collegeโ€™s history โ€” the unit excelled in:

RAATI Team Representative COL Michael Asuncion CE GSC PA praised the cadetsโ€™ โ€œprecision, organization, and readiness.โ€

This milestone was made possible through the dedication of the cadets and officers, the support of the college led by Dr. Janice Palmares, and the encouragement of City Mayor Atty. Stephen A. Palmares, CPA.
